Stumped

I am reaching out... I need some help....this whole second wedding thing is proving to be a bit of a challenge.

So, if anyone has any fantastic suggestions.... things you loved at other receptions... or things you loved about yours - let me know.  I'm all ears.

And if you see any super cute, reasonably priced dresses in Navy, Grey, Yellow or White (or a combination), please send me a picture.

Thanks,

The Challenged Bride to Be.

  1. Brian and I had planted orchids (fake) for our center pieces. Brian actually made them so it was pretty cheap. It was nice because we could pick out your own color.

  2. Do you know what I think should be a thing of the past? Cake. Except i am writing this and thinking of the fact that you make cakes and would probably like to make wedding cakes........
however!! when you stop and think about it, it gets wasted, it doesn't freeze well, people don't eat it and it costs a lot of money! I wish I would have left a cake out of my reception. Gaven left a cake out of his and nobody missed it. And the other thing I would have not done is a bouquet. I didn't have one at the temple because I didn't want one. But the one I had at the reception, I kept wishing I didn't have to hold it. But I did because I spent the money on it. I should have only done the throw away bouquet. the more I look back, the more I think that simpler is much much better. :) And that's my list of don'ts rather than do's.

  4. Um, when you get all of your great ideas, just pass them my way. I could use some too! We need to get together and go look for some ideas... :)

  5. I don't know if you are going to have one or not, but if you are going to have a lunchen, my recommendation is to have it the night before. We did the temple-luncheon-reception all in one day and it was exhausting! Patrick's friend did theirs the night before and it was so relaxed and nice. Plus, it leaves you more time to spend at the temple. Anyway, good luck! SO exciting!
